Honda CB175-350 from the late 70s to early 80s seems like a pretty solid little bike.

I've been looking at some Honda CB250/CBR250 on the internet. Prices seem reasonable, and the good low mileage ones don't seem to be too expensive.

Being a Honda, it'll last till the end of time. The CBRs might have been thrashed quiet a bit though.

Yeah, a lot of rally spectators are not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Guess they don't see the consequences of a vehicle coming against them at speeds up to 200km/h on narrow roads..

Jesus. Those clips are older than the entire internet. Like, I'm not even being sarcastic.

Yeah, sadly Group B rally saw the end in 1987.
Those were real rally cars with over 600hp, compared with todays "just" 300hp.

Actually, as insane as group B was, I prefer today... wait... subaru dropped out of WRC... scratch that. I prefer the 1996-2006ish WRC standards. Why? The cars are MUCH more like the production counterparts.. as in... yeah, 300hp Subaru STI with full rollcage, gutted interior, and crazy suspension, but it's pretty much the same car you can buy at a dealership. Very cool.

Uhh same power-output but majorly different motor. Also diff tranny. And center/rear diff. and pretty much everything in the car. I guess the shell is somewhat the same.

I know this, but it's not like Group B, with crazy 600 turbo 4 bangers, LSDs, massive wings, scoops, etc, but hte production version is a 75hp FWD piece of crap. As for the motor being different, it is at least similar in power, and layout. The group B stuff was like F1 engine tech shoved into econoboxes... cool, but a lot farther from what you could actually buy. Today's WRC car technology actually does migrate to the production model, in some form.
