The Car/Motorcycle/Motorsport/Anything fast enough to do something stupid in thread!

Funny, I thought stupid was getting in the way of a good discussion. I was honestly curious what this guy thought "soul" meant, but basically he refused to answer my questions, acknowledge that the SVX, with it's terrible performance, is just about as fast as his precious BMW E30 M3, and when he admitted that only german and italian cars have soul... that just pissed me off.

Kindly end the argument now. Cash68, you seem to want to argue your points to the death, this thread is becoming just like youtube comments now, where people just keep going on and on at each other about the same crap.

Can we talk about something relavent now?

Caterham CSR 260!

What a mad little machine, especially with the new Zetec engine in it. As much as I love the Rover K series to keep pushing more and more power out of it just made it more and more cranky. Seeing an easy and streetable 260hp from 2 liters is simply mad. This is especially the case when it is placed in a car as light as a Caterham...

Or the R500 for that matter, although larger people won;t be able to get in that one, I think the CSR has a wider body/cabin.

They've just announced an R300 too, same engine as the R400 and R500, but with about 185bhp I think.

How much cheaper is it to knock together a caterham at home as opposed to getting a turnkey car?

I don't know tbh, just had a look on their official site and can't fnd much, but only looked fairly quickly.

But the R500.... 263bhp and 505kg? Yes please.

Sure, it just annoys me when people spout BS, get caught, then can't admit they are wrong. Talk about whatever man, as long as it's automotive.

If we're talking about crazy insane engineering cars, not necessarily beautiful supercars.... I'll take a Gumpert Apollo. Those things are wicked badass.

I don't know if any of you are into racing games, but I've been playing NFS undercover and its quiet addictive.

Only gripe with the game is that, for some strange reason, the game freezes when I alter the bodykit on cars. Oh well, might as well leave my LP560-4 looking stock

BMW S1000RR.
BMW will make 1,000 production models (street bikes) in 2009 to satisfy the World Superbike homologation requirements.
