Would this come across as a fair and decent trade? 24-70L for a 24-105L? New they are roughly the same, I'm just wanting focal length overlap.

You can check out the photo archive for it on POTN and see what people have been able to do with it (IMO... there are some astounding photos reflecting what you can get out of this guy once you learn how to use it).
