Uggh, Constantines are so under appreciated seemingly everywhere. And self-titled>Shine A Light. Everyone seems to be getting that wrong.

Also, I feel compelled to admit I've never listened to He Poos Clouds for the sole reason of its atrocious title. I know that is really silly.

and HAYDEN. HAYDEN! Skyscraper National Park is in my top 5 of the 2000's from any country.

As much as I love Sloan I'd argue they are a 90s act. Rush is hardly a 2000's act either.

What makes a "2000's" act in your opinion?

Nice avatar too.

Devin Townsend has released ten albums in the last decade, and that's just solo. Almost all of it's really good IMO. Check out his two newest, "Ki" and "Addicted!". If you're not a fan of metal you may want to steer clear. Strapping Young Lad, his former band, has been classified as "extreme metal". They're got four albums in the 2000's as well.

A band that "peaked" in the 2000's would qualify in my mind, for me Rush peaked between '74 to '82. That's not to say I don't like stuff outside of that scope, I love their new album; a lot of the old Rush is in it, but they're past their prime.

They completely ignored k.d.lang's "Watershed". That's really sad.

Did you catch The Constantines on CBC's Q last week?

You know...The Con was a darn fine pop album.

If the New Pornographers count, I'll vote for Twin Cinema If not, then give me Apologies to Queen Mary by Wolf Parade.
