I owned a couple early iPods like this one, but the one issue was the mirror finish on the back was prone to scratches. I’m not a case guy because I love the tactile feel of my daps.

I still have a few old DAPs, Including an old iPod. I find that the mirror-finished backs patina the nicest. Rather have scratched up metal than scratched up plastic.

Agree tho that naked is the only way to go. I actually have an old iPhone 1st Gen that I still use case-less around the house... I baby it a lot tho to keep it pristine!
