I think that you can find out the file size by hovering the mouse over the download link, and you can get a pretty good idea from that.

Yep it's that low on soundcloud, 128 kbps mp3, Youtube for example at 720p and above is 192 AAC these days which is pretty great for streaming, 192 AAC sounds IMO roughly equal to 256 kbps MP3.

Is there a site providing 320kbps streaming audio? or is it impossible? I have everything I need in my comp in flac but I get a lot of links hey listen to this and that is gooood etc Hard to tell what you think if all you hear is minimal bass and cracking noises

I think Spotify is 320. Not sure if that is for the paid service or all streams.

For premium only, free version is 192 kbps AFAIK (or lower).

So by that logic, 256kbsAAC=320kbsMP3~FLAC (to my ears at least)

I download all my music from youtube! Its very good quality Some distortion but not that unpleasant!

Ektoplazm is 320kbps streaming and allows for downloading at either 320 or FLAC. Pretty cool if the genres works for you!

Also, trance.fm streams at 320kbps.
