The M50 when unamped on an iPod doesn't have nearly as much bass as the Beats Pro. I'm not sure about amp'd. Will check next time I go to the headphone shop.

The M-Audio Q40 is also a well regarded can. You might want to check them out too.
 

Can I consider the Audio Technica ATH-Pro700MK2 V shaped or is it more on the bassy side?

 
The highs aren't very well extended, so I would not say they are V-shaped at all. They are just heavy hitters on the bass-end of the spectrum.
 

You need to add the skullcandy skullcrushers, pretty sure it about as bassy as it gets built in subwoofers i mean come on..

 
They have a huge spike at about 90hz, and then it pretty much goes (way) downhill from there. The chart makes it look quite unspectacular, actually.

The Skullcrushers are a joke. Most of the bass is just that gimmicky transducer that vibrates. It's not real bass. The Pro 900, DT990 Pro (not the Premium) are the two hardest hitting headphones with REAL quality that I've owned.

Hey guy, any open, velour padded cans that would satisfy your basshead needs?

The DT990 Pro should be on the list... trust me. It has more bass than I'd like, actually.

The DT990 premiums are pretty good on bass too, but more audiophilic, and less bassheadphile.

Despite the Pro 2900 being like an open Pro 900... it loses a LOT of quantity... almost treading on being bass light.

HFI580, and m50s are actually not that bassy.

The M50s are not very bassy, to be honest. They are good cans for general listening, but the bass presentation is lacking in quantity. They are present when the track calls for it, but you will miss the rumble that bassheads crave. A good V-shaped, bassy can is the Ultrasone HFI 580.

The M50 isn't, but the HFI 580 is a pretty good basshead can. What are you comparing the HFI 580s with?

The bulge on each side looks really.. odd. The whole headphone looks sort of alien to me. I would have expected such a design from Skullcandy, really.

i need some help here regarding a powerful bass IEM and should i say m a basshead.
my considers are 
ath cks90 (red limited), hippo vb, dunu hephaes, sony xba-3,  velodyne vpulse.
 
all i care is clear sub-bass.
appreceate other iems too but ~200$USD.
