i love this record.

 
i read that it has over 3,500 samples taken from vinyl record.
their craft is painstaking.
 
and it gives ya some idea why their second album has been "in the works" for over nine years now...

Wow didn't know they planned for a second album. That is crazy. I hate that the Australian version is the only one that has all of the correct samples.

You mean correctly listed on the album?

Not sure what you mean by that. All of the versions contain samples not included on the other versions but the 2000 Australian issue is the proper version. When it was released in the US and UK, there were some issues clearing various samples so they had to be replaced with imitations.

It's good stuff, but I can't totally get into it.  I liked Frontier Psychiatrist a lot though.  The music video is quite amusing too.

Yeah, that record always played like a stunt to me…3, 4 or 5x on "Frontier Psychiatrist", though.

Really? I always thought the whole album was ( is) great! I'm really into DJ albums though so it might be just a matter of personal taste. They arrange their samples so cleverly! Makes me wanna get a pair of 1200s!

yeah still holds up 5 years after I bought it. Frontier Psychiatrist has become my favorite.
 
I'd buy a follow up if they ever made one....
