I live in a country where a 5 year warranty applies by law for stuff that should be expected to last for 5 year or more. Batteries, lightbulbs and such are excluded. Unfortunately, if you import the stuff yourself, it is of little help since you've imported it yourself...

Nice reference Vince!(I was kinda waiting for someone to say that).

Which country is that?
Norway. It's called Right of Reclamation. EU, unfortunately, is putting pressure on this (Norway is not a member, but has a very elaborate trade agreement)
From an environmental point of view it is a very good law indeed, nobody should make products that isn't meant to last.

Leather CPR works very well, and is gentle enough to not harm the pads. You can buy it HERE.

I just got my LCD-2's and I haven't gotten my amp and dac yet but I'm using it straight from my laptop and it sounds good. Lets start the burn-in!
I guess since I didn't choose the box I got the traveling case... its all good. I kind of like it!

A V200? Hope you like it (and in combo with the Audeze) as much as many others do. The Lake People / Violectric stuff pairs gently to the HiFiMAN and Audeze orthos (the ones I've heard). The German manufacturer seems to offer extreme VFM and taking SQ into account.

I would be too if I was driving them straight out a laptop
You're in for a surprise when the rest of your gear arrives... don't be surprised if you look like this ---->

I've been doing this for a while now
. Deciding between a V200 & a V800 or go for the whole shebang and get a V800 -> CSP2+ -> TABOO or V800 and the Darkstar. Funny thing is I had a cap'd budget of $1500, oh how that went out the window really fast
