The Audeze LCD-2 Ortho thread (New)

So I'm thinking about purchasing LCD-3. What amplifier should I go with. My #1 choice would be an amplifier with integrated DAC, but I am open to other options. I would like to purchase a used one and my budget limit is $1000-1200. I'm currently using my PC with usb-connection to my V200.

Thanks in advance! :)

Jamppa's graph is so different from any LCD2 I've ever seen.

That's why I wanted to post it.
Initially I thought that maybe I just had received a bad pair or something.
They sound amazing so I don't really care anymore

The current version of the Icon Audio HP8 Mk II (CV 181) sounds really great.  Very impactful bass, excellent tube midrange and very low treble grain.

It's not your hearing. I can feel it on my sub right down to 10hz

Can someone fix my link? Head fi I'd allergic to my mobile browser

I would like to know if the earlier flat cans can produce sound below 30hz. If they can I will be steaming

Mine were from late 2012 and the graph was very flat out to 20 hz but I never listened to any test tones so couldn't say what kind of sound was produced.
