For under 900$ I would say Audio GD c-2.1. Since it beats 900$ amps as in V200 and SPL Auditor and also preferr it over my GHP for the LCD-2. Not bad for a 350$ amp and it´s not short of features either.

It´s replaced by the C-2.2 with a beefier PSU.

It looks impressive, but I wish discrete mode wasn't limited to ACSS.

I had the exact thing happen with mine.  One month old and blown.  It took 3+ weeks to get it back.  It was a disappointment how it was handled and the information about when it would be completed etc was non-existent.  I finally called and spoke with S, he told me it would be another week and within 1/2hour I got a confirmation email it was shipping (FedEx ground).  I truly thought they may have forgotten about it at some point since it was around the RMAF show.

Hi everyone,

It turns out that my girlfriend used up all of the wood finish that comes with the LCD-2 to polish a table.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a product to use on the actual headphones?

Some have been commenting about the weight of these.  Never bothered me.  However have you ever looked to see what you actually look like wearing these............?  Mega-goofy for sure.  Not exactly Stax 009's for design.

If a driver dies do they replace both? I wouldnt want to burn in the drivers just to have one go out and have two different drivers with different usage times.

To be fair to her, she is clearly discerning and likes to keep the furniture looking its very best - she might be the one! Maybe we should stop giving her a hard time lol

My sister-in-law stayed the weekend. She didn't notice the LCD2s but she did want to know what the Taboo was! I forget what her guess was but I'm wishing I told her it was the latest Apple iMac, as it was sitting near the mac mini

When my daughter sneaks in and wears the LCD-2's  my first thought when I see her is wow those things look real goofy!

She'd definitely be the one if she was polishing the LCD's but using it for the furniture and not audio gear is a sign of future domestic trouble...you can look that up in The Audiophile's Best Match For Domestic Bliss Handbook.

Man a 3 week wait.  Oh well... I guess I'll be using my IEM's until then.  I emailed them and it was sent to a form on their site for someone to look over?  I hope the wait isn't that long.  If this happened does this mean that my 3 yr warranty is gone?

Gee, I hope not. Please let us know what they say about that. Good luck for a short wait too.

I guess they're small and under-staffed for how popular the LCD 2 & 3 are. Maybe it's good if they're staying small at the moment - danger lurks for businesses that expand too fast.

They did replace both so no worries there.  My surprise came when the whole process went so slowly.
