The ATH-CKS1000..

Well, actually no serious scientist would ever take the burn in phenomenon seriously in the first place. The changes that happen can be measured and they are very subtle to the point of most likely being completely inaudible. Frequency response graphs are a very reliable way of accessing sound signature. If you ask me 99% IEMs sound exactly like the FR graph suggests.

Poor quisxx.  If he only new that burn in is unreal, he would not have made such a big fool of himself with these three consecutive posts, beginning with this one:

I just ordered the ATH-CKS99!  I haven't read anything about them so I'm blazing the trail on these.  I got them used like new for $90 including shipping from Florida.

The price of the cks1000's on amazon japan right now is 13,891 yen or $136 US. Add $20 tenso shipping and we're talking $156 for amazing sounding iem's.

The 99's sound amazing seriously.  I installed the Accudio app and cranked the sub bass all the way up and thought I was gonna die. I thought I couldn't get enough bass before...but I had to crank the bass WAY down.  I have no desire for the 1000's and am content with 99.  Amazon has them for $111.71 shipped new!

I can't recall anyone. I think some of the amazon.jp reviewers were discussing both, but it was hard to make sense of (even via google translate). But yeah, $65??? That does indeed sound like a steal.
