I think Chuck's pricing is finding the most expensive DAP on the market then add 20%.

I wonder if my 19 yr old son still has the set I gave him last year? Wouldn’t mind giving that combo a try
Tera seems better with dynamic drivers to me

hi,

i'm planning to go mobile with SHURE KSE1200 electrostatic IEMs. can someone advise about the difference in sound quality between, say, an Astell&Kern SP1000 streaming Tidal "master" files, and a Tera-Player with downloaded hi-res WAV files? Would it be worth managing the files, sacrificing screen and navigation, in your opinion?

any input would be much appreciated.

I think this will come down to personal preference. Many people will prefer the convenience factor of streaming on the AK. Many more will insist that the AK sounds as good or better than the Tera. A small, but vocal, group will insist that the SQ of the Tera is unequaled, so convenience factor be damned.

Also, my experience is that the SQ of the Tera depends mostly on the right IEM/headphone pairing.

thank you! perhaps you or someone else could share their experience, whether the perceived inconvenience is worth it for them. i'm sure both are solid options, hence the dilemma.

Off topic:

Recently I decided to move on to LiFePO4 batteries to power my audio equipment going forward. LiFePO4 has the dynamic power and low impedance of a car battery.

Since I unlocked the ability to build my own DAP w/ optical glass output, it got me daydreaming I can build a transportable Altmann R2R DAC DAP for the same price as a Tera Player.

Can someone please try sandisk 64gb sdhc extreme pros and share impressions.
https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-64GB...ised-search-10&pf_rd_t=BROWSE&pf_rd_i=1197396
I hear soundstage increased very much and sound is so organic. I was using sdxcs they were horrible sound was muffled.

Am I the only one I must know if someone hear differences.
I thought it is about read speed 170mb/s it was huge differences from my sdxcs they were 45mb/s I do not know if it happened to only me sound just opened itself it was huge difference for me.
