I could always use more pants....

And you dont really need to upgrade pants. They just sit there. Dont need an amp. Dont need cables. Just gotta wash em every now and then, that only costs a couple quarters.

You know what, I think I'll actually let that count just for being such a smartass. Nobody else can guess "x" though (or any other variable).

Not fair, he's using Roman numerals, he meant 10!

ummm...two.
Just extrapolating from my own habits. I normally keep only my two main headphones on my desk to be able to switch between them at will.
The rest is flying aound somewhere and would make the choice much harder if Ihad them on my desk

The answer is the logarithm of 100 with base 23. The answer is derived from the fact that the headphone being given away is the K100 and there are currently 23 different AGK headphone models listed in Fitz's sig.

It can also be written as
Log23100

Which is equivalent to exactly
1.468722271147111181615958669273

This is possible because Fitz has been using his headphones for extended periods of time and over the years the natural decomposition of the organic components has left residue on the desk. Also, the contact between his hands and face have left microscopic scratches on the headphones further removing more matter and ends up settling on the desk. Now normally it wouldn't be possible to obtain enough essence of headphone to obtain an extra 0.468722271147111181615958669273 part of a headphone, but Fitz only collects older AKG models and has a much larger collection than most people by having many duplicates in his collection. He also doesn't organize his headphones leading to minute friction and scratches as the earth rotates. All these factors lead to an exponential growth in the amount of headphone matter residue left on his desk therefore allowing the 0.468722271147111181615958669273 part of a headphone.
