I recently bought a pair of recabled (null audio enyo) tf10s from a fellow head-fier. Oddly enough the balance sems to be slightly off. When the cable is switched (Left plug to right iem and visa versa) the side that seems to be "louder" (not really louder, the vocals + bass seem to be focused on one side) switches. So that pretty much confirms that it's the cable that's bad. Should I try and contact the guy I bought them from? Or null audio? Thanks for any advice.

I'd contact the seller. often times, they can get things sorted through the manufacturer far quicker than if you attempted yourself(some manufacturers do not allow warranty coverage for resales); I would definitely stick behind something I sell if they go wrong.
