I am looking at providing a nice boost to the audio quality of my pc. I know I would like to stay under $200. I have looked at different sound cards and amps/dacs, and frankly, I'm a little confused by all of it. Current rig specs -

From my current thinking, I could ditch my current sound card, get the ibasso d2+, output the sound from a usb port on the motherboard, and use the "phone" connection for my Grado 325is and run the klipsch promedia's from the aux in/out.

Is that correct? If so, this would also lead to better sound quality than using my old xfi extreme gamer card? I'm pretty sure, if I'm correct, this is exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance.
