Technics EAH-AZ100 - Reviews & Impressions

Great, thanks. Do people find the fit more secure than the AZ80s generally? Hope so due to the smaller size. I had issues with the right shell of the AZ80’s. Could never quite trust it not to slip out from a good seal irrespective of which tip (stock or multiple 3rd party) I would try.

For me they are more snug as they sit a bit deeper and differently in the ear versus the 80s. I don’t have any issues with the 80s, but would really need to jar the nugget to get the 100s to pop out. Haven’t had the opportunity to test with sweat factoring in though.

Mine are on the way (caved despite loving my PI8s) - just wondering what do people find are the best ear tips for these and do regular 3rd party tips work at all? Read some reference to the nozzle being oval shaped and an adapter required?? Any info would be appreciated.
I have Spinfit W1s on mine right now. Have also tried Spinfit Omni, CP100, Sedna Crystals. All work fine for me getting on and off.

Azla asmr simply rock! AZ 100's sound even better.

AZLA Crystal for Bose (Oval) size L do not allow the right bud to charge properly (it does disconnect from device though), tried slight adjustment so guess the left is going to do the same at some point so no use.

AZLA Crystal Standard size L do allow the earbuds to charge, so far I do not like the SQ, no EQ and sound muddy/bass oriented but not that hollow barrel sound the AZ80 had.

I have the entire AZLA range in Size L including the newer Xelastec 2's, Crystal 2's and MAX TWS6 (came out after the MAX ASMR), the Foamax do not fit me as have a slight grip but not a full seal but fit better than any other foam tips I have tried.

Definitely for me these are up there with the easiest to put in and get a seal and be very comfortable TWS I've ever used.

I have to say the technics tips fit and sound great tbh. And I am the kinda guy that often struggles with finding comfortable tips.
I did have to go down one size from the az80 though as the nozzle sits a bit deeper in the ear canal

Yeah me too. I'm rolling with the stock medium tips that came with them. I only tried a couple other tips but the stocks are just really good

I have the az80 which i love, but there's one thing about them I can't stand. The equalizer. It just can't sound good with any settings, other than the pre set eq like dynamic. How's the equalizer on the az100?
