Well I am about to get back my Tax Return and this year for once its going to be pretty large. So I have a little extra and was thinking of getting a Woo Audio 2 with all the upgrades. Its job would be to power my Senn HD650s and act as a preamp for a NAD C272.

The question is should I do it?

Is there a better option?

It sure looks nice, the specs look great, and I have seen many glowing reviews.

Yes, get it in black...all signs point to yes.

I ordered my WA2 (no upgrades) for pretty much the same reason, and to power the same headphones. Like LeMat, I have not yet received it so I can't give any conclusions about it.

And for a counter-perspective, I like the silver much better. It has a much more retro industrial feel to it IMHO. Plus, my wife liked the look of silver much better, which made it easier for me to convince her to let me spend the cash

How exciting. Go for it if you think its worth spending your tax return money on it!

Congrats, I am sure you will love it. I can't wait for mine to show up in another week or two.

Now you need to go hunting for tubes...
