I do own one of these
I bought one from my trip to Japan in December
Since then they have been my go to portable headphone. I use them for travelling, work and whatnot. Id say its the nicest 'portable' closed back ive heard. My definition of portable is, small enough to fit into a bag, doesnt leak sound too much , and sounds great out of a portable source
It sounds amazingly natural, much like a mini ZMF Auteur , which find to have the closest tonality. Organic, rich and liquid is what id describe it to be. It is neutral and tonally perfect. Depth and imaging is really nice, the most accurate and precise that ive heard out of a small closed back.
Only problem is that it doesnt scale too much compared to some other options. Ive tried it out of some of the amps ive owned and while it does sound a little more lively and spacious, its not by much. But we're talking about using amps that cost more than the headphones here, and im talking scaling relative to stuff like the Sennheiser HD6X0 series that i love. But those are not portable, neither are they closed backs.
Overall, an amazing headphone for its kind.

Nothing really, I'm happy with the open back headphones I have, I wanted the Tago for those moments when I need sound isolation, but I'm never actually comfortable with closed back headphones, the feeling is weird to me...The Tagos are outstading though, amazing natural sound profile! What will you replace it with ?

Hadn’t seen this thread yet. Saw the T3-01 on your website, but had not found a lot of information about it. Very interesting! Wish I lived closer to Amsterdam (I live near Groningen) because you have a few more headphones I would love to try out (e.g. ZMF).Good thing that Japan is opening up again

Have anyone heard these and the Meze 99 Classics? I am considering moving on from the 99s but wondering whether it would be a sufficient upgrade or not. Any comparisions would be appreciated

WOW, this is limited edition of T3-01 which made by the wood from oak barrels of Ichiro’s Malt whiskey.
but too bad - it sold only through the official website @ https://tagostudio.com/headphones/en/ichiros-malt.php and not shipped to USA.
Actually, I considered the collaboration version of T3-01 X IDOLMASTER, but it was too expensive XDWOW, this is limited edition of T3-01 which made by the wood from oak barrels of Ichiro’s Malt whiskey.

(Sorry for translator)
Finally, the ZMF SUEDE EARPAD for HD6XX arrived and was worn on T3-01.
I haven't heard the sound yet, but at least it has a better fit than the basic earpad and the BRAINWAVZ earpad. I have a feeling that the pad won't collapse even if I wear it for a long time!
