Can you take a screenshot so I can test it on my phone?
Here you go:
It's pretty subtle, but I like it a lot.

Fidue have a hybrid IEM on the way, the A83. I should be getting one in the next few weeks. Let's see how it compares to the H-300. I'm also waiting for a DN-2000
clip+/zip with rockbox as mentioned above has the same parametric eq. (lets you specify f,q,dB for several bands (8 or so bands you can tune to your liking)
....
for example compare it to the raw chart for DN1k here
guess what I'm trying to say is - i'd probably eq a wide band around 1k as well.
say q=0.7 (clip+ setting, I dunno if it's actually 1/q), in any case whatever the wider band setting is ), f=1000, dB=+1.5-2.5dB
(or maybe f=800hz depending how wide q=0.7 actually is.)
ps anyone know of any good apps to graph overlapping f/q/dB bands ?

at the end of the day, (for mids only, with the 8k correction above(so -3db at 8k, q=1.5))
i like 1-1.5 db , q=1.5, f=800 (to correct the slight dip).
and 1.5-3dB, q=0.8, f=1000 (to bring up the mids a bit over the upper mids)
maybe 0-1.5db, q=0.8, f=500.
That comparison will be interesting...
I agree with this tuning... The DN2000 needs a little bit of push at the mid-bass/lower midrange area to sound lively.
Otherwise, also near perfect to my ears.
H300 on the other hand sounds great from Bass to mids although others prefer to raise the lower midrange a bit. I'm not bothered by it.
The lower treble peak does need some taming for it to sound REALLY great.
NOOOOOOO!!!!
DN2k is perfect as is to my ear...
Sorry I was wrong... It's actually almost perfect as is. A little bump @ 80hz and slight reduction @ 450hz will make the DN-2000 almost as good as H300 bass. The dunu is a bit on the soft/boomy side so slight adjustment is needed. Really slight and I mean 1-2 db only.
- 20hz -0.5db
- 128hz 0db
- 1khz -1db
- 6.5khz -0.8db
- 8khz -3db
- 10khz -1.5db

For 10 band:
- 32hz -0.5db
- 128hz 0db
- 1khz -1db
- 4khz -0.7db
- 8khz -3db
- 16khz 0db
=) band descriptions please. in frequency, q value, db value format.
250+ is mids.
1-250 is bass.
eqing 450hz can reduce the upper bass and mid bass (120-250hz) but it will also affect lower mids. (if you use a wide band)
maybe a narrow band around say 150-180hz is better. (say q=2.5)
(depends where you eq it).
for me, on clip+ dn2k always started distorting when I eqed around 50hz up more than 2.5db. (which upset me a bit). (chasing the h300 bass)
so i still end up eqing the H300 8k down(q=1.5, db=-3.5), 0.8k a bit up (1db, q=1.6), and mids up 1k, q=0.8, db=2-3.5
anyhow - please post the complete eq configs for both h300 and dn2k (I think you mentioned you eq the mids on dn2k to be a bit sweeter as well)
