So I am pretty fresh at all this but I am keen to move on from my old hippo vb's. I find them a bit dry in the mids but love the bass and find it is all a little sterile, I am happy to sacrifice a bit on the bass but was wondering whether these would have a bit more of that lushness to these (acknowledging that in reality they are superior in every way) or would you point me somewhere else? Sorry if my description is a bit naff, first post...

Yup! Ordered on the last day of the presale. Got an email last thursday that it's shipped and on its way. I'm guessing to get it on wednesday...

No, I didn't get them. Not used to that kind of price tag (even at the pre-sale price), and also I'm quite happy with my 1k's (and gr07be's, and basso's!). But apparently no amount of happiness can stop me from lusting over these puppies lol.

I was eyeing on the CKS1000 originally but this came along and I think this is the one for me.
