T-Peos H-100 Hybrid IEM Appreciation Thread
Oct 5, 2012 at 5:59 AM Post #17 of 1,259
Just got more info on these IEM. Apparently H-100R and H-100K are the same sounding IEM with difference only on the outer casing design. I am ordering a pair of green and hopefully it will be here sometime next week.

looks nice, thanks for the measurements and review link. wonder if they're comfortable
judging by the pics on alibaba, k is black cord + yellow inset, r is red cord and inset

also: http://swpshinwoo.com/english/main/ and http://swpshinwoo.com/english/products/pr_window.php?ctgNo=1 and http://swpshinwoo.com/english/products/pr_1_sub.php?ctgNo=s01&no=814 and http://swpshinwoo.com/english/products/pr_1_sub.php?ctgNo=s01&no=813

I wonder what the diameter of the the earpiece is. edit(1.06cm across, 2.4cm long)

>Cord controller Optional

That suggests a mic option maybe.

i wonder if the rifled metal bits are unpleasant in the ear :D ?

you can see a pic of insertion into a dummy head in http://goldenears.net/board/2158522

edit: on some alibaba pics it has a rifled bit, on some plastic rings instead O.o e.g. http://papsa.trustpass.alibaba.com/product/132629818-0/New_Hybrid_9Dynamic_BA_Earphones.html?tracelog=ggsotherproduct1

edit2: ah ok, H-100R is the plastic rings, H-100K is the rifled metal bit.

Shouldn't be too much of an issue if it is done right. I have IEM of similar design and I don't feel a thing when wearing.

ordered h-100rr (ebay, by asking the seller, he says ships 10th oct... bit concerned with 5 feedback and advertising registered post as 'express', but why not i guess)

You will be so happy about ordering this. I just got mine and, although still a little early to give any real in-depth impression, I have to say I am really impressed. Granted I haven't heard K3003, I think it is one of the most balanced and most harmonic of any hybrid I have heard - just a big WOW from me atm. :D

That's enough of an endorsement for me to try it out.  I've ordered one as well.

Thanks ClieOS. They had me at the FR chart to be honest. It looked not dissimilar to some of the UM products I own :D
Also, they did send it via EMS (express, not registered as I assumed), and I'll have it on Mon. (could've even had it today :frowning2: ). Color me impressed :D
The seller also threw in a free BA-100 model :D

How's the comfort btw? I assume you got the rifled metal bits not plastic rings model?

No, I have the green ringed version, not the rifted version. I think those ring are metal as well, as the housing does have a bit of weight on it. The overall build quality is good, but I can see some minor area that can be improved further. But sound wise, I don't think this has any problem competing with IEM on the $300 range.

*drool*.
heh. mine's the red rings version. wish I could pick it up today :frowning2: :D

I think less the shipping and the gift BA iem, they cost me about $120 :D

btw2, did you try any foam tips from your collection on them, if so - what size will fit?

Comply 400 series should fit it. I suspect Monster foam should be okay too. They do however include foam filled hybrid beside the regular hybrid. Do be careful when removing the eartips as they are very tight on the nozzle.
