If you're not going to EQ, then the DN1K are the way to go IMHO. The A250 have a lot of mid-bass. It's quite fun for shorter listening sessions with electronic music but gets tiring after a while. With a bit of subtractive EQ in the mid bass region, I like the A250 a lot.

The other thing to consider is ergonomics. While I find the A250 shells more ergonomic than DN1K, the A250 cables are very springy and microphonic and the connectors are so large they make over ear wearing (which would help negate the microphonics) near impossible. So if you plan on moving around much while wearing them, DN1K will be less fiddly even though the shells are heavier.

A lot of people love Fideu A73, may look into that.
