May I ask how it was possible to get this combo for trial?
Are you connected with the industry, or who is doing a loan?

I am not in the industry. The Solitaire headphones I had previously trialled, I subsequently bought and own. The HA200 is currently on trial. I am in the UK and had the opportunity to try these courtesy of Audio Concierge. (https://www.audioconcierge.co.uk)

I am actually more interested in the HA200. How does it perform when pairing with other TOTL HPs?

I am going to do a proper review of this and have started working on it. I am also awaiting the HDMI board so I can try DSD from an SACD.

Most of my listening has been done with the Solitaire P so far and the synergy is incredible. I am very impressed. For other headphones I am still to do much listening, but I am slightly concerned with the output impedance of the HA200 which is 8 ohms. For planars this doesn't matter because they respond evenly across their frequency range. So the Abyss should be fine with its 50 ohms impedance. And for headphones of 64 ohms or higher, should be fine too. This means Focal headphones might not be a good pairing for example. The output impedance of the HA200 is adjustable upwards but not below 8 ohms.

Thanks for sharing. You are right, my C3X will hiss when pairing with high sensitivity HPs. I think it would be the same case on HA200.
Shall be waiting your review.

If you click the link below it will take you to a brand new review of the T&A Solitaire P headphones and the T&A HA200 amp.
Musicalhead not only reviewed the T&A combo, but he compared it to the Susvara and Abbys 1266 TC and several highend amps like the Riviera AIC 10.
Alas, it is in German, but you can use the Google translator to at least comprehend the gist of the article.
For him the T&A combo ranks as one of the very best headphone systems money can buy.

Yes and I totally agree with this assessment. I also have a Chord Dave and Mscaler (Blu 2) here as a comparison
