I ordered a 2nd pair of P's the first will be my bang around set and will barely touch the other. I have 3 things coming most likely in one month for all three.

Baller.
What's are a few good songs to test vocals and the high region? I'm comparing the two pads. Just from what I'm listening too I don't hear air.

Has anyone done a direct shootout or at least heard the following in the same system ? Abyss TC, Susvara, Solitaire p?
I'd like to get my hands on the Susvara again now that I have a more powerful headphone amp. When I did a shootout of Abyss and Hifiman it was on WA33 which doesn't have near the power of the Headtrip 2. My Headtrip produce 16-18 watts and has a 30 db gain. Best part of the Headtrip is it sound like a tube amp not solid state.Has anyone done a direct shootout or at least heard the following in the same system ? Abyss TC, Susvara, Solitaire p?
If you study the Susvara thread, one might come to the conclusion that even the Headtrip 2 amp will not have nearly enough power to drive the Susvara.I'd like to get my hands on the Susvara again now that I have a more powerful headphone amp. Which is why I will never consider a Susvara no matter how good it is. Solitaire P and D8000 Pro I can drive to a more than acceptable level with a good portable device and listen anywhere at home, or garden if there is the possibility.
18 watts at 50 ohms should do the Susvara. The amps rms power is 50 watts at 8 ohms. It’s better then the 4 watts off WA33.

Like I said, at least according to the Susvara thread, 18 watts will not be even close.18 watts at 50 ohms should do the Susvara. The amps rms power is 50 watts at 8 ohms.
Most recommend speaker amps up to several hundred of watts.
Comparison of Solitaire P with Susvara and AB1266 PHI TC: https://musicalhead.de/2020/05/06/test-ta-solitaire-p-ha200/ - (in German).Has anyone done a direct shootout or at least heard the following in the same system ? Abyss TC, Susvara, Solitaire p?

There’s more at play when the math is applied 200 watt amp at 8 ohms goes down fast a 50 ohms. Then you have gain which is super high on HeadTrip. The amp can melt the coils of normal use headphones. If HE-6 has amazing bass on the HeadTrip does that mean Hifiman did some trickery so Susvara will only do the same only if I get a speaker amp? I have owned 4 screw HE6 HE6 se and HE6 se v2 4 with HeadTrip. One of the most transparent headphones with bass. The parameters are equal to Susvara. The Susvara was not designed to be a bass machine. Typical people buying Susvara are not bass heads the New HE6 sold only in NY is bass head and that’s by design. If Susvara was bass head I’d buy one. That headphone to me is clarity and detail. Back to HE6 the first SE model has only detailed bass.

It’s in the pile next to the LCD x xc also you can make out he 6 se v1. The new he6 is sold by Adorama. It retails at $1799 but I was given a old link that still worked and got it for $699. This new one is the closest you get to the original. The original below it looks burgundy because the pool table lamps. The new one is blue very nice looking. There is a new He6 that is not the he6se?

Why are the “TrUELY” best headphones low sensitivity high impedance?
So after sometime with the ultrawide ear pads came too the conclusion that i like the stock better. If you check out Musicalhead he describes what I actually heard. Yes you get more in the treble but you give up some positives. I like both I'm a pro at changing them now. Stock pads for edm no bass loss in sub area. Ultra makes the vocals of female more lively. I'll pad roll on this headphone. Tidal vs Apple music and bass heads will like the Apple music more for EDM with the Ultra pads. Tidal better sound quality but the exclusive mode changes the sound of the music.
