T+A HiFi - HA 200 (Headphone Amp & DAC Combo) - Official Discussion Thread

Can you say please what are the differences between revision T+A HA 200 v1.0 and v2.0?
The new units do not have a v number on the back (at least for the DAC 200) but there has not been any change to the circuit. Most likely, this was the initial firmware version and they realized it didn't make sense to put that on there.

Hello,
I have a question regarding updates:
1. Did I understand correctly that installing a new (current V2.35) version of the OS driver automatically installs a new firmware in the T + A HA 200 device?
2. Or this is done by flashing the firmware T + A HA 200 in T + A service centers (for example, as a BIOS update on older laptop models was done)?
3. Or the firmware is never changed on T + A HA 200 (it is permanent), just a new version of the driver is installed on the OS?

Thank you!

I have the HA 200, Sol P and P-SE. Fantastic kit, the sound is superb. Great detail retrieval and holographic soundstage the like of which I haven’t heard before. The P-SE gets most head time due to the lighter weight (P aggravates an old neck injury because of the weight) but is very close to it’s big brother with detail, soundstage and bass. T+A customer support is very friendly too.

Well reading this I expect not to upload updates for the moment on both HA200 and DAC200…

Already wrote this in the Solitaire P threat.

Received the USB-Network dongle and software directly from T+A.
Firmware update of the HA 200 with a windows 10 PC worked fine.

Wow what a dick move. It literally takes minutes to help fellow audiophiles. You realize this is a public forum and good will goes a long way to attracting new clients, or in this case showing how you treat people and thus turning them away. Just keeping it real mate.

I have another question.
Currently I’m using a BNC cable from T+A from Streamer to T+A HA 200.
is an expensive USB maybe better?

It doesn't need to be expensive but the A-Link Interface between MP200 and Ha200 could be superior and is the recommended connection
