O mighty head-fier gurus:

This could be a long shot, but I'm sure the Gurus there would help me out on this in a way or another.

I've been using my sony A729 for ages and loving it. Two things about it annoy me heaps. One is i can't edit song info(rate with stars)/playlist on device, but i'll leave it alone this time. The other is when I use WMP to sync AAC music to it, WMP always convert the AACs to mp3 first.

It's not a big deal really, it just annoys me. Too much that I think i'll try my luck see if any one knows how to make WMP directly transfer the AAC files onto walkman just like mp3 ones?

For the record, I love WMP 11(Win7) better than iTunes for the ease of management. And the sync functionality comes with it is fantastic to my needs. The AAC files are from my purchases in iTunes. WMP 11 can play these files on PC with no issues, just always convert it to mp3 when syncing.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

P.S. Bonus questions: How's the new walkman line like in terms of the above two issues? Can people edit playlist on the go now?
