I am casing up an amp and power supply in oak and would like to put the power switches on the front side for convenience. Was hoping somebody here could point me toward some dressy metal switches. Thanks

Have you poked through the Mouser catalog yet? There's a whole mess of switches there. If you're looking for metal, take a look at the vandal-proof ones they have. Not the cheapest, but they're usually solid stainless and designed to be abused.
