Can anyone comment on the synergy with the k701 and Headroom amps? I like the DAC/Amp synergy in the headroom combo, but how does it translatge when connected to the AKG? I think that the combo WAS made for the hd650 becuase of the differences between it and my Supermacro/mini. Seems to have a slight high peak in the upper midrange and lower treble (to combate veil maybe?) and although a warm amp, a leaness (for lack of better words) in the lower bass (to combate senn bass bloat?).

Anyway...maybe im wrong.

But how is the synergy? Is the 650 synergy better with the desktop amp?
