After some good auditioning, finally bought the Superlux HD660.. Although build quality seems ok enough, I just wanted to know if any superlux owners here managed to brake their pair and how long?

Superluxes are durable, like any other headphone. Just don't step on them or have them fall to the floor lots of times and they'll be fine.

i usually suck at taking care of my stuff... and i going to use them as portable. I actually did just that and went to commute with them for 4 hours straight, comfortability passed, especially the SQ... but im not sure about its durability....

thanks........ i guess ill be using them as portable after all (i really dig there styling), and if they break ill let you guys know, mind you im really abusive with my stuff, ill give them half a year

... But they sound so nice i wanna keep them forever

Durable? Yes.
I have a pair of used 681 from 2012.
They last.
