After polishing off the last altoid mint I discovered that the tin makes a perfect carry case for the super-mini amp.(no kiddin)
I haven't detected any difference in the sound of the amp after being exposed to the olfactory ambience of the tin. I'll leave that to the tweako cult.

Wouldn't a case that holds both the super-mini and your source be of more interest? I am always on the lookout for interesting off-the-shelf cases and holders for potential uses outside their intended. For example, Fixups site shows pictures of using a super-mini & mini-radio in a standard cellphone case - cool.

Otherwise, if your point is to just have another "exo-skeleton" for your "mini" by itself, wouldn't it just have made more sense to get an Altoids CMOY instead?
