I listen to these genres at the moment: doom metal, progressive metal, alternative folk, alternative rock, post–rock, prog rock, industrial / gothic, classical, blues, experimental, alternative pop, art pop, dream pop, and quite a bit of electronic music from different sub–genres (gotta have artistic value).

I had to find a system, which accommodates any genre I enjoy and also works with mediocre to bad recordings.

Live amplified concerts can suck.

The Susvara is the king of bad recordings. Purposefully poor recorded black metal sounds amazing off the Sus. Other headphones make is sound harsh and bad, but the laid back sound of the Sus is perfect. Estats, of course can't do it at all.

It’s more crass and even more unhinged over there. The water (alcohol) makes people less inhibited.

Hey, what happened to the Summi-fi drunken ramblings thread? It was getting good last night but I had to get to bed.

They moved the thread and deleted a lot of my posts (due to profanity, even though I used edited versions of words like I always do).

Several members warned me about this, and I guess they were right. It was fun while it lasted though

Well, they completely killed my drunk ramblings thread after moving it to another form. Lesson learned. No profanity and no overt dissent.


Side note, the CA-1a has the bass of the th900mk2 off the VM-1a. It actually very much surprised me. I highly recommend it. You don't even need Mitch filters.

Would a ZMF estat sound like the CRBN?

I wonder if Zach will get into estats? I think he won't, but if he did, I hope it's a more resolving CRBN
