Suggestions for good bookshelf speakers?

I have made my choice: Triangle Zerius.

I called Kevin at Upscale Audio. I HIGHLY recommend buying your speakered system from him. They have tubes galore. Any tube gear you could ask for can be had at Upscale. They will also give you a deal and treat you right.

So I went with Triangle Zerius with an ebony veneer, and an AE 25 superamp by Audio Electronic Supply. Match this with my Cary SLP 98P and I will be a happy speaker listener. Kevin recommended Ah! speaker cable. Pre-terminated with banana plugs at 12 feet each. He also threw in a pair of Ah! noise suppressors.

I think I will be happy with this setup. Thanks to everyone for their recommendations.

check out www.upscaleaudio.com to see pics and reviews of the gear.

Thanks Tom! It turns out that the Triangles work well with my 15 wpc amp. They have high sensitivity.

The whole system should be together by this weekend! whew... My neighbor will not be very happy about it, but the system is also designed for low level listening, so it should be good. I am certainly more interested in quality over quantity. I don't really need ear splitting levels, but I will certainly be running it out to see what it can do.

I am really, really excited. Going from a transistored, integrated, home theater receiver with a 2 channel bookshelf set up to an all tube preamp and power amp with floorstanding speakers will be quite a shock, I think.

I'll let you know what it's all about after the weekend.
