Hi all! Been on the deep dive with DAPs lately and I think I’ve narrowed down what I might be looking for. Hope such a thing exists.
Requirements:
-permits at least a 2tb microSD storage that can exceed 20k tracks. I’ve heard some DAPs (like Hiby) have problems indexing more than 20k.
-Bluetooth
-Small-ish form factoring akin to the Sony NW-A55.
-Decent built-in UI that isn’t going to get laggy with a lot of tracks loaded into the device. Doesn’t need to be super duper snappy, just needs to not be laggy and be relatively future-proof
Wiggle room:
-I’d really prefer not to have an android device. Im trying to simplify my life and don’t want the temptation to browse around and download irrelevant apps. I’ve also heard that android tends to affect the battery life.
So basically down with whatever has the best sound quality after fulfilling these needs! Budget is <$500, new or used.
