well here's the deal. I have one that I bought on here a few months ago.

How do I get the battery out?

and also, is it worth using w/IEMs such as the X3i's and a player such as the D2, Clip, or A728?

Thanks in advance.

Flip it over so the battery faces down, tap the amp so it will slip out.

If I am not mistaken, the CrossRoads amp you got there is a basic cmoy design with better parts. As are most cmoy, the amp is good for almost any headphones that are not to difficult to drive.

Can I ask? Where did you get that, and for how much?

on the for sale forums here
I got it in a bundle with a used pair of X3i Rubies for a total of 60$. Any interest?

Step 1: Remove the battery compartment door.

Step 2: Push the battery tray towards the head, dislodging the double-sided tape below.

Step 3: Flip up the whole tray from the rear of the battery.

Step 4: Replace battery.

Step 5: ENJOY!
