Hi all
 
Newbie here. I've recently been bought some Beats by Dre Solo HD - Xmas gift.
 
When I plug them in to my laptop, Ipod, phone etc. I only receive the audio for the left headphone. The strange thing is, I'm hearing this in both ears. The sound isn't exclusive to just the left headphone. I've tried a different wire, my brothers headphones (same ones) and the problem remains. I then plugged in my old earphones and I get both the left and the right sound no problem. 
 
Can anyone shed any light on this for me before I return them?

tried it with a player? 
I would probably say it has some circuitry problems

They're faulty. I suggest asking for the receipt to get a replacement/refund.

Yeah definitely some sort of issue with the headphones themselves. 
 
But beats are pretty much crap anyways. You will be glad you exchanged them.
