[Story] Why Would We Develop BTA30 Pro?--From @FiiO Willson

The Pro has L RCA Line Out, R RCA Line Out, OPT OUT, COAX IN/OUT, OPT IN, Antenna, and USB IN.

This is crazy. HOW DO I FEED IT AUDIO FROM A 3.5" audio out????
I have the L/R RCA sockets feeding out to my active monitors. But I don't think it's possible to feed analog audio signals directly into BTA30 pro. I don't think it was designed to do that.

Stunning. The most basic connection is missing.

Is there a work-around, involving the much more sophisticated inputs? I feel like a fellow from 1984 confronting a 1TB microSDXC card.

I am looking and the manual and diagrams for the connectors for the BTA30 Pro. I am very confused. I would be looking to use this as a transmitter.

How does this thing get powered? It does not come with an AC adapter, and I don't even see a connector at the back to which power would go. I do see a USB input. Does this just take a regular 5V USB in through this port? But then if I have a DAP that doesn't have bluetooth, and all it have is an unbalanced 3.5mm regular jack going out, how do I connect that to the BTA 30 Pro so that I feed it audio?
Yes, the BTA30Pro does not support analog input. Does your DAP support coaxial or optical input instead? If yes, you could connect it to the BTA30Pro via the correct cable for help.

Best regards

No, all I have is analog output. Are there any workarounds to allow this?
I tried something similar last year. Sending analog audio from my TV into a AptX BT transmitter. It affected the audio quality; lost quite a bit of dynamics. I think the A-to-D conversion process contributed to most of that loss. But, then again, it was only a sub-$100 BT box. IMHO, it's probably best to keep the music files in digital domain until the earphones/headphones. Probably a base model Hiby/Shanling/Hidizs/FiiO DAP with LDAC/AptX Bluetooth might be the easiest way to send your music files to you BT earphones/headphones while retaining the most of the SQ. The BT earphones/headphones needs to have compatible codecs. Btw, diggin' you 1984 analogy :)

You would need a analog to digital signal converter for help before using with the BTA30Pro.

What model is your DAP? It doesn't have USB that supports audio out on that? You could connect that if it does.

If it genuinely doesn't have any digital output, and doesn't have Bluetooth built in either, I think you'd be better off with another all-in-one BT transmitter that supports analog input. There are other devices that do this. Or consider a new DAP that just has Bluetooth built in, it would be neater and wouldn't cost much more if anything than buying something like this.
