Okay so I was thinking about getting the Logitech F540 for my PS3 gaming, but then I found out it was stereo.  Is there much of a difference between stereo and surround sound?  And should I get the Turtle Beach DSS or something to make it surround sound?
 
By the way, I'll be using them mostly for CoD: Black Ops so it would be helpful to hear where people are coming from.
