Does anyone know where i could buy such a thing? If not, what would be the cheapest and easiet way to make something of the nature for use with a lower-than-low-fi speaker setup for my girlfriend?

In other words, I'd like to convert her sound cards 1/8" stereo jack into a pair of terminals to hook up some powered speakers. So from something similar to this to a pair of these.

Any ideas???

DIY is the only way, I've never seen a cable like that.

You'll be going from a low level connection to a high level connection, so it won't be ideal. Personally I'd just go from the mini plug to two pairs of spades and eliminate the crappy spring posts in between. Shoot for the largest gauge wire you can fit in that mini plug (18 should be doable, don't use lamp cord either, you'll need something with a thinner jacket).
