I purchased a 009S and BHSE at the end of 2019. The 009S developed a channel imbalance during the 1st week of use. The replacement and my X9000 (6 months old) have had no issues.

the one-sided weakness (felt 90%) on my SR-X 9000 occurred only after 10h of recording /break in time. The headphone amplifier used was a Paltauf ESD II, which supplies my 009 flawlessly.
The replacement 9000 (duration 2 weeks / warranty) was restarted a hundred times in the meantime and presented without problems.
A trigger for a channel weakness I can therefore not trace in the amplifier I used.

By the way: The STAX 9000 warranty for units delivered via the German importer is extended to three years after registration.
Maybe an impetus for other country importers to give the customer a good feeling?

la debilidad unilateral (sentida en un 90%) en mi SR-X 9000 ocurrió solo después de 10 horas de grabación/interrupción en el tiempo. El amplificador de auriculares utilizado fue un Paltauf ESD II, que alimenta perfectamente mi 009.
El reemplazo 9000 (duración 2 semanas / garantía) se reinició cien veces mientras tanto y se presentó sin problemas.
Un desencadenante de una debilidad del canal que, por lo tanto, no puedo rastrear en el amplificador que utilicé.

Por cierto: la garantía STAX 9000 para unidades entregadas a través del importador alemán se extiende a tres años después del registro.
¿Quizás un ímpetu para que los importadores de otros países le den una buena sensación al cliente?

Hola, llevo mas de un año con los X9K y al dia de hoy no me han dado ningun problema solo satisfaccion al escucharlos. Mi pregunta es que no sabía que había que registrarlo. Lo compré a un distribuidor oficial en Europa, tengo factura de compra. Podrías poner el enlace donde puedes registrar el X9K.

Really stinks on the wait. Keep in mind they really hold their resale value well, in case you lose patience, keep an eye on the FS thread.

Also, will really be looking forward to your impressions, will be good to hear from another TC enthusiast (in addition to @Ciggavelli), whichever way the impressions sway.

I know the voluntary warranty extension to three years from the German importer audiotra, if the STAX was delivered through a German dealer and the device number is registered. The information link for this = https://www.audiotra.de/media/pdf/6e/21/be/Garantie-bersicht_ATR.pdf

I don't know if other EU importers have a similar system, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I wanted to say T2 because they sounded very good together when I last heard them. But when you name your amp Megatron, there is a certain expectation about the power. Plus I have always wanted a Megatron
