I've spent two days with these things and GOOD LORD! The oo7tII w/ the Omega II's are AMAZING. I can see into the music. I also have an NOS Sennheiser HE60 that may beat the Omega IIs (not sure yet) but good god, I'm an electrostatic FREAK! Screw dynamic cans!

WoW!

Wow, wow, wow!

You'll get bored with stats over time, but I"m a big Omega fan anyway.

Dang, but those electrostats are like a siren call...I'm gonna get a taste of those Omega2's and I don't care what they do to me.

The SRM-007t/SR-007 combo sure is great sounding!
You'll have lots of great time with them...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Omega II's are the most seductive sounding pair of headphones I've ever heard. Damn comfortable to boot as well. They would be near perfect for me, had I not preferred the massive soundstage of the K1000's.

the bass is enough to give anyone a headache. the omega has head pounding type of bass.

Now you only need a much better amp to really show you what they can do...

Properly amped and fitted to the listeners head, there is no better headphone and that includes the He90 and the SR-Ω but they can be a pain to get right.

Yes I love elecrostatics too. I keep being told that dynamic phones are a match for the stax. They are much closer than they used to be but I still dont think they equal the speed and clarity of any stax. However; i have to spend quite a lot of time working away from home so electrostatics arn't really practicle so this is where I really appreciate my dynamics such as the AKG 701's or Grado GS100

I rate the electrostatic powers of the Omega 2 to be in primary acclaim in front of any other driver type, although i havent heard the best moving coils (K1000, R10, E9, GS1K).

Enjoy your new Omegas! The SRM007TII is a MUCH better amp than its predecessor 007T. Spritzer, how much is a Gillmore Blue Hawaii? The amp looks very impressive.
