I used the search and came up with this thread and this one. I'm curious to hear from old and new Omega 2 owners if they are using them with the earpads facing in the direction shown in the drawing below. I've had the Omegas for a few weeks now and I've found this to be the best position for pad placement (the seam serves as a great constant). These earspeakers are particularly sensitive to placement. Feel free to altar the image however you wear them.

Enjoy! After over four years and several multi thousand dollar headphones these are now my benchmark for quality sound.

Mine worked best with seems pointing slighty angled up - that is, angled about 10 degrees upward and pointing toward the temples.

I wear mine with the seem facing forward in an upwards angle of 30-40%.
That seems to give me the best fit and sound quality.

Can someone satisfy my curiosity and post a picture of what the earpads of the O2s look like? I didn't know they were D-shaped at all.

This picture of my SR-007BL quite clearly show the D shaped earpads.
