I am currently considering getting a lambda series stax with an energizer to jump into the electrostatic rabbit hole. I was wondering how energizers (at least the ones that do not need speaker amps) without DACs such as the 252s react to different amps.
Do they need a powerful amp, or are just fine with your pc's input? If they do, how much would different amps change the sound? Much thanks.

I'll take the bait:
1. Why posted here? This section is for summit fi products. You can get more response by posting in Amplifier Section
2. I don't really understand the question, SRM252 is an amplifier. No need to paired it with another amp. Just plug your Lambda to 252.
3. Yes, you gonna need DAC. DAC from your PC's sound card may not help you much in quality. Try something like Topping/SMSL/Fiio for affordable DAC.
4. Woo WEE is perhaps what you are asking here. Woo WEE need a speaker amp to operate. Yes, different amp means different sound in this case.
