Well, basically they are the same with different colour, which colour you like more? Since I live in Canada, so warranty does not matter to me.

all I am saying.....which colour you like? silver with black leather pad OR black with black leather pad

MK2 (black) it is for looks.
Hence why I back in the days bought the SR-007BL over the usual SR-007.

Silver is so boring. The only thing missing on that one is a blue led...

The black one looks awesome, although the champagne one looked superb as well.

The black with black leather pads looks the best IMO, very classy. However, reports are that the Mk1 is "better" than Mk2, so if you can find an original Mk1, go for it. The champagne color with brown pads looks very good on my head and my ears like it a lot too.
