Just picked up a new set of the PSB M4U 2's, I seriously love the sound quality I get from them, but I've noticed while I have Noise cancelation on I get static, not a good thing for $399 headphones. Has anyone experience anything similar.? I've been thinking in swapping them and getting the Momentum's from Sennheiser. Thank you.

Could it be due to a lot of constantly changing noise in your listening environment?  Sorry I don't know much about anc headphones but I couldn't resist the hashtagswag

The entire circuitry maybe tested by the designer in different audio source but might not be compatible with your MP3 player or whatever is that. Maybe there is an impedance mismatch such as hum or distortion can be heard. Better use those ordinary headphones, choose branded ones.

Music source are designed to be connected directly to speakers or headphones any additional circuitry like noise cancelling may not be compatible.
