I just got my stancor psu today second hand(if that matters). Basically, it measures fine(10 volts or so), but when I plug it into my art dio, nothing. No power. The stock psu works just fine. Any idea on what could be wrong?

I remember Hirsch told me something about polarity and the Stancor. Not quite sure what he meant. Hope that helps...

Yeah, be sure it the same polarityas your art (center tip positive or negative if it's a wallwart).

Yes, if it's 12 volts AC. I had one Stancor that went bad. It delivered voltage with no amperage behind it, and couldn't drive anything. I had bought it from Radio Shack when they carried it, and they did a warranty replacement.

Its a bit odd, I'm getting the right voltage, but low amperage.

I think I'll give stancor a call.
