Hello Guys,

I was wondering if anyone tried to drive the LCD-5 with a speaker amplifier.
I have an old Pioneer M-73, can i just buy a Banana plug to mini xlr cable and drive it directly (in class A) or It'll blow up the Audeze?
Will it be an improvement compared to the Burson Conductor 3R?
Please don't be rude :stuck_out_tongue:

These are the specs from the amp:

A hi-fi stereo power amplifier housed in a black metal case with wooden side panels with continuous power output of 2 x 110 watts into 8 ohms (2 x 125 watts DIN into 8 ohms). Class A output up to 2 x 20 watts (2 x 25 watts DIN). Partner to the Pioneer C-73 Reference Control Amplifier. With Pioneer's Super Linear Circuit, Clean Ground system and Direct Connection. With rotary switches for Class A/Class B and CD/Line Input Level, push button switches for Speakers A and B, CD Direct and Control Amp, and a jack for headphones. With terminals for input CD DIRECT, LINE DIRECT and CONTROL AMP and for output CD/LINE OUTPUT and Left and Right channel terminals each for 2 pairs of loudspeakers.
