So I have been using it EVERY night when going to bed and it is great.  With the podcasts it has a warm and clear sound & with my ipod set to about 75% volume I find its the perfect volume, so I can lay close to it (the speaker is to the right of centre) and hear it in my left ear or roll onto my other side and the volume is still fine for my right ear to hear whats being said.

And no, you cannot feel the speaker sticking into your head when you sleep.

Well worth getting and highly recommended! If it was double the price after getting used to it I would go out and buy one.

Perhaps in the future they will start getting more technical with them, like having 2 speakers, perhaps wireless options...who knows.

I am actually thinking of picking one up soon because leaving a speaker by my nightstand doesn't really even out the music on both ears. I am assuming the speaker pillow would be able to reach both ears because it is basically underneath your head....I think it's a great idea, and hope to pick up this model tomorrow.

Looks like I have the same model.

It contains one speaker and on my pillow the speaker is set slightly off centre.  Laying on my side I usually have my left ear close to it, but yes if you lay on your back you will get the sound in both ears. You mind have to adjust your head position so your not totally muffling the speaker.  Also, bear in mind that I have my I-Pod turned upto about 75% of its volume, when listening to it at night.

Will have a look at that article now.

Heres a picture showing the connection details @ the corner of the pillow.
