This info is located in the first post, but here it is:
MEET DATE: August 12 & 13, 2006
LOCATION: Westlake Village, CA 91362
TIME: Start 10:30 AM
I am sorry about the cloak and dagger, but the exact address will be sent via pm about 5 days prior to the meet. The meet location is off the 101 at Lindero Canyon Road and from there about five miles. I hope that helps for the time being.

OK what is PM? and how do I know that I will get the address? I would think you would like a big turn out? Why cloak and dagger at all? Is there some reason for this?

1) Private Message
2) You will get a PM notification
3) Yes, it is always nice
4) Because there will be expensive equipment there
5) That is ALWAYS the way it is done here.
Hope that helps.

I can possibly give you a ride to the meet as well...PM me if you haven't arranged something.
This will be the first one for me and the wife...and we're both really looking forward to it.

Yes....but it was such a NICE parking lot
Looking forward to finally putting faces to names, and making some re-acquaintances again.

I'm going to try to make it on Saturday in the afternoon (get there maybe 3ish) and will bring my Darth Beyers with BlackMax cable and HF-1 #79 to the meet.

"*Raffle tickets will be sold at the meet for $10 a ticket (cash only)"
Quote:
forgive me if this has been mentioned, but how will the raffle work?
will there be multiple raffles, and we can therefore choose to go for certain items?
or will there just be a single large pool, with mutually exclusive ticket draws, so the first ticket pulled will be for prize A, the 2nd for prize B, etc...
last, are there any items that are still needed (e.g. power-related, blue tape, etc?), and should we try making a "Meet Etiquette" so we can all go into the meet understanding certain rules/practices? (yeah, fine, i'm anal)
for example:
* Please treat others' gear with care
* Unless noted otherwise, please leave a load (headphone plugged in) in tube amps at all times
* please do not needlessly power on/off tube amps (leave them on?)
* please do not put wooden/fragile headphones down on their delicate cups
* if you move/disconnect someone else's amp/source, please reconnect when you are done
etc
