Source for replacement DT990 earpads?

Hi, I'm a noob here at the Head-Fi forums, and I've searched thoroughly but can't seem to find an answer.

I have an old pair of Beyerdynamic DT990's (circa 1990) that I just dusted off after a long time in storage and noticed the earpads are finally starting to give out. I'd love to replace them with legit DT990 earpads for my model (brown/charcoal), but noticed that there have been at least a couple incarnations since my version (light gray/white-ish).

My question: Is there a good source I can purchase replacements from? I've searched Google thoroughly, e-mailed Beyerdynamic (no response yet), but haven't had any luck. Can anyone here help?

Just a quick follow-up. Got my replacement pads Thursday, and they work great!

Does anyone know if Beyerdynamic makes a black velour version as well?

Sorry for reviving the old thread but i would prefer to do this that create a new one.

Would anyone be able to help an Australian buyer find replacement earpads? (i think these headphones are older than me)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

are they worn out or just flat?

If they've gone flat, I can tell you how to put new foam in them. It's not really all that hard, if you have a source of medium-density foam rubber.

Yeah the pads are so old that yopu can see the foam through the material. I need new ones but thanks anyway.
